Nature.com: A systematic review published in Scientific Reports found that acupuncture improved neurological deficits and reduced brain edema in experimental ischemia, and that the mechanisms mostly involved with enhancing endogenous neurogenesis including proliferation, migration and differentiation of NSCs.
